Automatically stops chain rotation during kickback events for operator protection
Hand Guard
Protects front hand from debris and provides additional barrier during operation
Safety Trigger
Requires two-step activation to prevent accidental starting of the chainsaw
Chain Catcher
Prevents broken chain from striking the operator in case of chain failure
Right-Hand Guard
Protects right hand from contact with chain during normal operation
Lock-Off Button
Prevents accidental activation when chainsaw is not in use
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Chainsaw won't start | Power issue, safety lock engaged, faulty switch | Check power supply, disengage safety lock, inspect trigger switch |
| Chain won't move | Chain brake engaged, chain tension too tight, motor issue | Disengage chain brake, adjust chain tension, check motor operation |
| Poor cutting performance | Dull chain, improper chain tension, insufficient oil | Sharpen or replace chain, adjust tension, check oil reservoir |
| Chain comes off bar | Loose chain tension, worn bar, damaged drive sprocket | Adjust chain tension, inspect bar and sprocket for wear |
| Excessive vibration | Unbalanced chain, loose components, worn bar | Balance chain, tighten all fasteners, inspect guide bar |
| No oil flow to chain | Empty oil reservoir, clogged oil ports, faulty oil pump | Refill oil, clean oil ports, check oil pump operation |
Maintenance Codes
- Daily: Check chain tension and sharpness, inspect bar for wear
- Weekly: Clean air vents, check all safety features
- Monthly: Inspect power cord, lubricate moving parts
- Seasonally: Deep clean, replace worn components
- Annually: Professional inspection recommended
