Operation Instructions

  3. Bucking (cutting fallen logs): Support log properly. Cut from top down. Watch for binding.
  4. Limbing (removing branches): Work from trunk outward. Keep saw stable.
  5. Oiling: Automatic oiler works during operation. Check oil level frequently.
  6. Stopping: Release trigger. Engage chain brake when not cutting.

Tip: Plan cut path before starting. Have clear escape route.

Chain Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and safety.

  1. Sharpening: Use round file (5/32" or 4mm) and file guide. Maintain 30° angle. File all cutters evenly.
  2. Tension Check: Chain should be snug against bar but pull freely. Re-tension when chain sags.
  3. Depth Gauge: Check and file depth gauges with flat file when sharpening.
