Step-by-Step Assembly

  1. Unpack and Inspect: Remove all packaging materials and inspect chainsaw for any shipping damage.
  2. Handle Assembly: Attach the rear handle and front handle according to the provided instructions.
  3. Bar and Chain Installation: Install the guide bar and chain, ensuring proper alignment and tension.
  4. Chain Tension Adjustment: Adjust chain tension to manufacturer specifications (typically 1/4 inch play).
  5. Fuel and Oil Mixing: Mix gasoline and 2-cycle oil at the recommended ratio (usually 50:1).
  6. Lubrication System: Fill the bar and chain oil reservoir with recommended lubricant.
  7. Safety Check: Verify all safety features including chain brake, throttle lock, and safety switch.
  8. Initial Start-up: Follow starting procedure and test all functions in a safe area.
Warning: Always wear appropriate safety gear including eye protection, hearing protection, gloves, and chainsaw chaps. Never operate without proper training.
