Key Features

Powerful Electric Motor

12 Amp, 2.0 HP motor provides reliable cutting power without the maintenance requirements of gas engines. Instant start capability in all weather conditions.

Adjustable Extension Pole

Telescoping pole extends up to 10 feet for reaching high branches without ladders. Locking mechanisms ensure secure positioning at various lengths.

Automatic Oiling System

Continuous automatic chain lubrication system ensures proper oil distribution to the bar and chain during operation, reducing wear and friction.

Tool-Free Chain Tensioning

Easy-access side knob allows for quick chain tension adjustments without additional tools, maintaining optimal cutting performance.

Low-Kickback Guide Bar

10-inch guide bar with low-kickback design enhances safety during operation. Reduced vibration for improved control and comfort.

Overload Protection

Built-in thermal overload protection prevents motor damage during heavy use or if the chain becomes bound in the cut.

Safety Features Explained

Chain Brake

Inertia-activated chain brake stops the chain within milliseconds if kickback occurs

Hand Guard

Front hand guard protects operator's hand from debris and provides additional chain brake activation

Lock-off Switch

Prevents accidental starting during handling or transportation

Rear Handle Guard

Protects rear hand from slipping into the chain during operation

Vibration Dampening

Reduced vibration system minimizes operator fatigue during extended use

Clear Oil Window

Easy-view oil level window allows quick monitoring of lubrication supply

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Saw won't start Power issue, lock-off engaged, thermal overload activated Check power supply, ensure lock-off is disengaged, allow motor to cool
Poor cutting performance Dull chain, improper tension, insufficient oil Sharpen or replace chain, adjust tension, refill oil reservoir
Chain won't move Chain brake engaged, bound chain, drive sprocket issue Disengage chain brake, free bound chain, inspect drive sprocket
Excessive vibration Loose components, unbalanced chain, damaged bar Tighten all fasteners, balance chain, inspect guide bar
Oil leakage Overfilled reservoir, damaged seals, improper storage Adjust oil level, replace seals, store in proper position
Motor overheats Dull chain, excessive load, insufficient ventilation Sharpen chain, reduce cutting pressure, ensure clean air vents

Maintenance Codes

  • Check Oil: Oil level low - Refill bar and chain oil reservoir
  • Chain Tension: Loose chain detected - Adjust chain tension immediately
  • Motor Overload: Thermal protection activated - Allow motor to cool for 15 minutes
  • Brush Wear: Motor brush replacement needed - Contact service center
  • Bar Wear: Guide bar groove worn - Inspect and replace if necessary
  • Chain Dull: Cutting performance reduced - Sharpen or replace chain
