Key Features

Powerful 8.5 Amp Motor

High-torque electric motor provides consistent cutting power for branches up to 6 inches in diameter without the maintenance of gas engines.

Adjustable Length Pole

Two 4-foot extension sections allow for maximum 12-foot reach, enabling safe trimming of high branches while keeping feet firmly on the ground.

Automatic Oiler System

Continuous automatic chain lubrication system ensures smooth operation and extends the life of both chain and guide bar.

Low-Kickback Safety Chain

Specially designed safety chain reduces kickback risk while maintaining excellent cutting performance for safer operation.

Lightweight Design

Weighing only 8.6 pounds, this pole saw reduces user fatigue during extended trimming sessions while maintaining durability.

Easy-Access Controls

Conveniently located controls on the handle allow for single-handed operation while maintaining secure grip and control.

Safety Features Explained

Chain Brake

Automatic chain brake stops chain rotation within milliseconds if kickback is detected

Hand Guard

Integrated hand guard protects operator's hand from debris and accidental contact

Lock-off Switch

Prevents accidental starting during transportation or when changing positions

Two-Handed Operation

Requires both hands to engage trigger for increased control and safety

Debris Shield

Protects operator from sawdust and wood chips during overhead cutting

Insulated Handle

Electrical insulation on handle provides additional safety during operation

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Saw won't start Power issue, safety lock engaged, circuit breaker tripped Check power supply, disengage safety lock, reset circuit breaker
Poor cutting performance Dull chain, insufficient oil, improper chain tension Sharpen or replace chain, refill oil reservoir, adjust chain tension
Chain won't move Chain brake engaged, jammed chain, motor issue Disengage chain brake, clear obstruction, check motor connection
Excessive vibration Loose components, unbalanced chain, bent guide bar Tighten all bolts, balance chain, inspect guide bar
Oil leakage Overfilled reservoir, damaged seals, cracked reservoir Drain excess oil, replace seals, inspect reservoir
Motor overheats Dull chain, excessive load, ventilation blocked Sharpen chain, reduce cutting load, clear ventilation ports

Maintenance Codes

  • OL: Oil level low - Refill chain oil reservoir
  • CT: Chain tension needs adjustment - Tighten chain to proper specification
  • BR: Chain brake engaged - Disengage brake before operation
  • MO: Motor overload - Allow motor to cool, reduce cutting load
  • PS: Power supply issue - Check electrical connection and circuit
  • SF: Safety feature activated - Review safety procedures
