Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Engine won't start Dead battery, safety switch engaged, fuel issue Check battery charge, ensure seat switch engaged, verify fuel supply
Poor cutting performance Dull blades, incorrect cutting height, clogged deck Sharpen/replace blades, adjust cutting height, clean deck underside
Loss of power Clogged air filter, old fuel, dirty spark plug Replace air filter, drain old fuel, clean/replace spark plug
Excessive vibration Unbalanced blades, loose components, damaged spindle Balance blades, tighten all bolts, inspect spindle bearings
Hydrostatic transmission issues Low fluid, air in system, linkage adjustment needed Check fluid level, bleed system, adjust control linkage
Uneven cutting Uneven tire pressure, deck not level, worn blades Adjust tire pressure, level cutting deck, replace blades
