42-inch Cutting Deck

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench set
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Socket set
  • Pliers
  • Torque wrench
  • Battery terminal cleaner

Step-by-Step Assembly

  1. Unpack and Inspect: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect components for damage during shipping.
  2. Install Steering Wheel: Align steering wheel with shaft and secure with provided hardware using torque specifications.
  3. Attach Seat: Position seat on mounting brackets and secure with bolts and washers provided.
  4. Install Battery: Connect battery cables (red to positive, black to negative) and secure battery in tray.
  5. Attach Cutting Deck: Lower deck onto mounting points and secure with pins and retaining clips.
  6. Connect Deck Cables: Attach lift cables and PTO cable to appropriate connections on deck and chassis.
  7. Add Fluids: Fill engine with recommended oil (SAE 30 or 10W-30) and fuel tank with fresh gasoline.
  8. Pre-Operation Check: Verify all connections, check tire pressure, and test all controls before first use.
Warning: Assembly should be performed on a level surface. Always disconnect spark plug wire before performing any maintenance.

Troubleshooting
