Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Engine won't start Fuel issue, spark plug, safety switch engagement Check fuel supply, inspect spark plug, verify all safety switches are engaged
Poor cutting performance Dull blades, incorrect deck height, clogged deck Sharpen/replace blades, adjust cutting height, clean deck underside
Loss of power Clogged air filter, fuel restriction, drive belt slipping Clean/replace air filter, check fuel lines, adjust/replace drive belt
Hydrostatic transmission issues Low fluid, air in system, linkage adjustment Check fluid level, bleed system, adjust control linkage
Excessive vibration Unbalanced blade, loose components, damaged spindle Balance blade, tighten all fasteners, inspect spindle assembly
Electrical problems Battery issues, corroded connections, faulty switch Test battery, clean connections, test switches with multimeter
