Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Chain tension adjustment tool
  • Bar and chain oil
  • Fuel mixing container (for gas models)

Step-by-Step Assembly

  1. Unpack and Inspect: Remove all packaging materials and inspect parts for damage. Verify all components are included.
  2. Handle Assembly: Attach front and rear handles according to instructions, ensuring all bolts are tightened securely.
  3. Guide Bar Installation: Install guide bar onto the chainsaw body, aligning with the drive sprocket.
  4. Chain Installation: Place chain onto guide bar, ensuring cutting teeth face forward in the direction of rotation.
  5. Chain Tension Adjustment: Adjust chain tension to allow slight sag on the underside of the guide bar.
  6. Fuel and Oil: For gas models, mix fuel with 2-cycle oil at 50:1 ratio. Fill bar and chain oil reservoir.
  7. Electric Conversion: For electric mode, attach power cord adapter and ensure all connections are secure.
  8. Final Check: Verify all fasteners are tight, chain moves freely, and safety features are functional.
Warning: Always wear appropriate safety gear including eye protection, gloves, and hearing protection. Never operate without proper chain tension and lubrication.

Key Features

Convertible Power System

Switch between gas and electric power sources with simple conversion kit. Gas for maximum power in remote areas, electric for quiet operation in residential areas.

Quick-Start Technology

Proprietary starting system reduces pull force by 30% for easier starting in all weather conditions. Electric mode offers instant start with trigger switch.

Automatic Oiling System

Built-in automatic chain oiler maintains proper lubrication during operation. Manual override available for heavy cutting conditions.

Anti-Vibration System

Advanced vibration dampening reduces operator fatigue by 40% compared to standard chainsaws, allowing for longer working periods.

Tool-Free Chain Tensioning

Adjust chain tension quickly without tools using the side-mounted tensioning wheel. Maintains optimal cutting performance and safety.

Inertia-Activated Chain Brake

Safety feature stops chain rotation within milliseconds if kickback is detected. Manual front hand guard also activates brake system.

Cutting Applications

Limbing

Precision cutting of branches up to 6 inches diameter. Use electric mode for reduced noise in residential areas.

Bucking

Cutting felled trees into sections. Gas mode recommended for logs over 12 inches diameter.

Pruning

Selective branch removal for tree health. Electric mode provides better control for precision work.

Firewood Processing

Efficient cutting of firewood lengths. Automatic oiling system maintains lubrication during extended use.

Storm Cleanup

Versatile power options handle various storm debris. Convertible design ensures operation during power outages.

Construction

Rough cutting for construction projects. Anti-vibration system reduces fatigue during all-day use.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Engine won't start (Gas) Old fuel, clogged filter, spark plug issue Use fresh fuel mix, clean air filter, check/replace spark plug
Motor won't start (Electric) Power source issue, thermal overload, switch failure Check outlet/cord, allow to cool, check trigger switch
Chain won't move Chain brake engaged, clutch issue, drive sprocket worn Disengage chain brake, check clutch springs, inspect sprocket
Chain comes off bar Loose chain tension, worn bar, damaged drive links Adjust tension, inspect/replace bar, check chain condition
Poor cutting performance Dull chain, improper filing, bar groove clogged Sharpen chain, maintain 30° filing angle, clean bar groove
Excessive vibration Unbalanced chain, loose fasteners, worn anti-vibration mounts Balance chain, tighten all fasteners, replace mounts
Oil not reaching chain Empty oil tank, clogged oil ports, pump failure Fill oil tank, clean oil ports, check oil pump operation
Overheating Dull chain, insufficient oil, air flow restriction Sharpen chain, check oil system, clean cooling fins

Error Codes & Indicators

  • Red Oil Light: Low bar and chain oil - Refill oil reservoir
  • Flashing Power Light (Electric): Thermal overload - Allow to cool for 15 minutes
  • No Spark (Gas): Ignition system failure - Check spark plug and wire
  • Excessive Smoke: Oil/fuel mixture issue - Check fuel ratio and oil system
  • Chain Brake Engaged: Safety system active - Push front hand guard forward
  • Erratic Operation: Fuel contamination - Drain and replace fuel mixture
